The Forum aims to promote the formation of a community of scientists and specialists from enterprises involved in the creation and application of new materials and advanced engineering solutions based on them, to increase the activity of innovation subjects and demonstrate the results of their implementation, to establish cooperation between industrial enterprises and suppliers of new equipment, and to facilitate the transfer of technologies.

The partner and co-organizer of the IMTECH cluster is the Mir-Expo Exhibition Company.
The company's main activities include organizing international exhibitions and conferences in Russia and abroad.
The main exhibition brands of Mir-Expo are the international specialized exhibitions Cryogen-Expo, Composite Expo, Polyurethanex, Innovative Materials and Technologies, Heat Treatment, and others.
Today, the exhibition company has partnerships with more than fifty foreign specialized exhibitions.
VK Mir-Expo is a full member of the following organizations: the Universal Exhibition Industry Association (UFI) since July 1, 2015, the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUSEF) since 2014, and the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 1999.
